Our client in their search for a Business Analyst. This is a fulltime staff role in Calgary.

Reporting to the Manager, Information Systems, the Business Analyst is responsible for partnering with the business to assess and identify business improvement opportunities.  The role is also responsible for end to end project management of key business initiatives in the process and technology areas.  As a member of the Shared Resources Team, the Business Analyst works closely with the Operational Executive leaders. 

You will be responsible for collaboration with respective business units to design detailed business technology solutions and supervise the implementation of all new system installations, estimate projected costs and prepare proposals to explore the opportunities to align with business priorities.  You will also create, modify and improve current business processes by researching and instituting software solutions.  You will be seen as a Partner to the different Business Units to investigate and analyze gaps in business processes and requirements, including impact analysis of changes on all systems, to ensure strong alignment to Business KPIs.

Approximately 7 years of business analysis experience, business process improvement or project management experience.  We will give preference to individuals with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or similar. 

Our ideal candidate will apply a strong change management lens to all activities with careful consideration of adoption and have the ability to organize, plan, and prioritize. 

Experience in insurance or financial industries is an asset.
